It’s already my last week in Bangkok i can’t believe it! Time flew by here which i guess is a sign that i really enjoyed it here. If you are a digital nomad or want to work remotely from somewhere for a while i can highly recommend Bangkok. Although i will say, location here is everything, so here are my tips for Bangkok:
As a digital nomad i highly recommend staying around the Thonglor, Ekkemai, Asoke, basically Sukhumvit area. All are very popular with expats and digital nomad with lots of events (and padel courts ahah). If you can’t, then try to get an appartment close to the BTS. Truly, as long as you’re close to a train station you’ll be fine and able to get everywhere relatively quickly. My last apartment was not great (no windows) BUT it was in Ekkemai, right next to a BTS, so location wise it was amazing, which is why i didn’t mind staying there.
Bangkok is a great place to start any south-east-asia trip from. It’s safe, lots to do, well connected and nice to work from!
