Hi Out Of Office Crew! 🩷

Thanks again for opening this newsletter, i promise its got good things inside! This last week has been so chaotic for me. Work has been busyyyy, I’ve been trying to coordinate a trip with 2 friends (IYKYK lol), and I got a last-minute opportunity to teach English in Poland! Which of course I said yes to, but that means I leave on Friday! Yayy.

I will have to take an overnight bus, which is not my favourite.. but it was the best option! And I really want to take this opportunity, so I’ll make it work. So expect some Polish content to come your way soon hahah!

Skip to the good part:

🎙️This weeks podcast

This week, I wanted to talk about what it’s like to come home after a big trip. SO much info is out there about how to prepare to go on a trip, but not a lot about what it will feel like when you come back..

So that’s what this episode is all about. Because when I came back from my first 6-month trip, I felt really weird. And even now, regardless of how many times I’ve been away, it’s always an adjustment to be back. Listen to the episode on Spotify using the link below (or find Out Of Office Club on Amazon and Apple podcasts).

☀️Travel deals & Inspiration

As always, I’ve spotted some fun travel deals and content! I’m still looking into a trip to China for next year, but I also cannot stop thinking about Korea and Japan.

(*I’m not connected to any of this content, I’m just sharing fun things I found online!)

  • About 4 times a day now I get content from this girl, Andy, who tries snacks from Korea/Japan, and I just love her content, so dry and funny, plus it makes me want to go back to Japan soooo bad.

  • I booked my trip to Poland with Worldpackers!! They have sooo many amazing opportunities available that are FREE. It’s basically a work exchange. So you work somewhere in exchange for accommodation, and sometimes even meals. They have many types of work available all around the world. So definitely check it out! Use this link to get $10 off a Worldpackers subscription!

🌱Tools, apps & other

  • I got a couple of questions from people about how I organise my health insurance, and I’m insured through AXA. It’s only been a couple of months, but so far i’m very happy with them! If you have another recommendation though, let me know!

  • If you’re planning to travel towards Asia/Middle East/Oceania anytime soon and are flying with Qatar Airways, did you know that they have a special layover deal? You can book up to 4 nights extra in Qatar to explore Doha and surroundings, and you get a massive discount on your hotel! I did this last year and had a great time! You can read all about it here.

  • I’ve been using GetYourGuide to book some of my experiences during my trips (like skiing in the desert in Peru!). And you can now get 5% off your first experience with them using my link! You can download the app here and then use code STELLASENTIERO5.
